What, in your opinion, does this car bring to GT?

Well...... there could be performance mods under the hood and there is most likely some weight reduction on it.

With the Midnight Purple Skyline? No there wasn't. It was nothing more than a special color package just like it had been with the R33.
With the car the OP is about? The only performance differences as stated in the link provided by the OP are adjustable dampers, carbon fiber front panels, front and rear LSD and the big adjustable rear spoiler. Basically just some aftermarket parts being sold as a kit together,


So if I take a GT-R Black Edition or GT-R SpecV any other one of the half dozen GT-R road cars and equip all of those same parts in game and paint it white, how will the car in the OP any different from them?

I'm not sure. I would need to see the car vs. a standard gtr nismo.

Interesting that you think there are extra things in this performance package than what was announced. One would think that Nissan would say what they were if they existed so the package was more appealing.

It pretty much IS A GT-R Nismo. It's just equipped with an extra package or something. This is probably the package used for the GT-R Nismo that ran a 7:08 at the Nurburgring. Which is an very fast lap time.

Which isn't far off the 6:57 Porsche claimed they got from the 918. Not bad at all.
