Nissan S13/Tandem

Wondering how to get the highest available HP on the S13. Ive been able to get 407 with oil change and it increases every 2 days or so. Also, are there any tips to keep up when following someone with more HP than you(in tandem). I love the S13 and want to keep using it but when it comes to tandem its not getting the job done:/
 
I know how you feel, I pushin 331HP I usually am conservative when im tandoming cause I don't want to hit the guy in front of me :ouch:.

But today I was tandoming with this guy "DRIFTcow" he wanted to chase me all day and we were gettin mad angle yo 👍.

I still got to find the sweet spot when chasing, cause I believe it mostly in the suspension.
 
Ive drifted with DRIFTcow a few times as well. Cant remember what happened as it was a long time ago. But, I guess I need to be more aggressive. It sucks when someone wants to tandem and uses the Ameniya or FD cuz its hard as hell to keep up.. Who knows maybe I'll get it one day, but thanks for your help:)
 
I go by this philosophy:

More HP = Less aggressive

Less HP = More aggressive

So I rather gun it in the turns, than watch my speed 👍
 
This is hard to explain lol..
When you're chasing, you gotta copy the guy infront to get the same speed and angle. If he's pulling away from you or you cant seem to get close enough, lower the gas and slightly grip it to catch up and then resume your drift mode. Thats how I do it. But don't make the gripping part too obvious lol. There's also times during the drift where you know your car will cut the corner faster if you just zero-counter to little counter steering and accelerate it forward.

Edit: One more thing, since my gear ratio is close, When i shift up during my drift and accelerate, i tend to catch up a lot faster and easier

Do you guys find it hard to drive behind the Blitz? cause I'm seeing it's just not fair and original. The hard part is, I love the damn thing. I'm gonna stick to my S13 from now on.
 
hey dmoney....i noticed your from pa. Was wondering if you slide in real life. Im also from pa and im currently building my two tone in real life. ill add you on ps3 and maybe we can tandem sometime
