When Nissan released the '89 Nissan Skyline GT-R, there was nothing that could touch it at the time. It produced a whopping 300+ horsepower from its 2.6L turbo inline-6, and put the power to the ground with a robust 4WD system. For the R33 and R34, this engine and transmission combination remained largely the same, with just a few refinements to the turbocharger and how torque was distributed to the wheels.
