It's been widely thought that Japan's Skyline GT-R Police Interceptor was just an urban legend, something the Saitama Prefecture Police had but never put into action. For years there have been images of this car but it was never seen in action... until now.
A video has recently surfaced proving the existence of a Skyline GT-R in Saitama Prefecture, with one blasting down the Kan-Etsu Do Expressway. While performance figures are still unknown (likely powered by the same 330HP RB26 as the production model) it is still very much equipped to take on whatever Japan's street racers can throw at it.

Note: I'm not entirely sure of the year, as I haven't been able to find out what year this GT-R was first put into action by the Saitama Prefecture Police, although, since it's a facelifted V-Spec II, I'll guess it was no sooner than 2000.
Note 2: I'm also sure that there is more than 1 of these out there, as the car in the images has the 14-67 plate while the car in the video has what looks like a 15-64 plate.
