nissan skylines at the nurburgring

not sure if this qualifies as a write up but it doesnt really fit anywhere else.

i wanted to know what the fastest fully tuned skyline is and if buying parts from hks or amuse etc actually makes a difference to buying parts from nismo.

i got 9 skylines one of which i won, tuned them with everything, set the ride height at 100mm, gears at 17, tcs at 3, asm at 8, weight ballance 30, weight 20.

i havnt done them all yet but here is how it loks so far.

1: Skyline GTR M-Spec núr (R34): 6:39:xx: tuned by HKS
2: Skyline GTR V-Spec II (R34): 6:41:xx: tuned by NISMO
3: Skyline GTR LM Limited (R33): 6:51:xx: tuned by TRIAL
4: Skyline GTR V-Spec (R32): 6:54:xx: tuned by NISMO
5: Skyline GTR (R33): 6:54:xx: tuned by MINES
6: NISMO 400R (R33): 7:01:xx: tuned by NISMO

cars yet to be run:
NISMO GTR S-Tune (R32)
NISMO GTR R-Tune (R34)
Mines Skyline GTR N1 (R34)

and just to compare to the skylines as to how fast they actually are:
NISMO Fairlady Z Z-Tune (Z33)


i just hope that in GT5 we see the NISMO Skyline GTR Z-Tune

Why don't you buy two Vspec II skylines one tuned by HKS the other by Blitz to make the test fair?

no difference between HKS and Blitz, the tuner parts are the same, the difference is between the manufacturers tuner and the tuner tuners, e.g. nismo and ralliart are different to hks and blitz

it was more of a skyline test than tune shop though
