I just installed the NiXim brake pedal spring kit this weekend on my G27. Wow - what a difference !! It feels so much closer to a real brake pedal. I've never tried a load cell brake pedal so can't make a comparison between the two. But I was immediately able to brake deeper into corners and had fewer "incidents" with traffic in front of me. I also placed a washer in the bottom of the accelerator pedal spring housing. This effectively preloads the spring by about 1/2" and makes for a slightly tighter feel to the pedal.
IMO all in all - a very worth while investment. Now I have to complete my racing rig based on RicmoTech's design. Hope to post photos later.
