No activation email

I signed up yesterday and have tried resending the activation email a couple of times but am not receiving it. It's not an ISP email address, its a personal email address on the domain I own. Spam settings are turned off.
The email address works fine as I subscribed to the news feed on that address and received the activation email for that.

Hmm, that is strange, it still seems to be working OK in my testing. I just manually re-sent the activation email to you, and it did appear in the logs, so have another look. Hopefully it will be there.

Still nothing. Just sent an email to the address from work email address and it came through straight away. I also subscribed to this thread with instant notification and didn't receive that either.

Well I tried a couple of different email addresses with the same domain name and none of them work. For whatever reason gtplanet.net doesn't like iniff.com so I have created a dummy gmail account that forwards to the desired email address.

Not an ideal solution but at least I am activated.

I wish I could be of more help, but I just reviewed the logs and found all of the activation messages that you sent to those various other addresses at iniff.com. This one has me stumped, but at least you've sorted out a temporary solution. Sorry for the inconvenience.

FYI.. might help in the future.

Just switched my email services from GoDaddy hosting to Google Apps and as soon as I did every single one of those activation emails came through. Something was stopping them from getting through but they hadn't given up yet (high TTL?).

I just changed it to the desired address again and got the activation email straight away. Seems to be GoDaddy's fault.

Interesting, thanks for the follow-up. I just did a quick search and found mention of another vBulletin forum administrator who had trouble with activation emails getting through GoDaddy.
