No auto pilot in endurance races???

so im an hour into the 4 hour race, lapping the second guy 7 laps...do i really need to keep driving for another freakin 3 hours? thats about 28 laps infront of second place, whos probably like 10 laps infront of third...

please tell me there is auto pilot, cus i cringe every time i think of the 24 hour race thats waiting for me...
 
I shared the driving with my son who just parked it at the end for 15 mins and crossed the line after the 4 hour mark.
 
You have to keep driving. That's what "endurance" means.
