No Instruments in Split Screen

Hello all,

My dad and I are having serious problems. I just bought a Logitech G27 racing wheel, he already has a Logitech Driving Force GT. The plan was that we would finally be able to race each other in split screen mode, but neither of us have any on-screen instruments! We have no tachometer, no speedometer, no gear indicator, nothing! This isn't a monstrous problem for me since I have the RPM indicator on the wheel and the stick tells me what gear I'm in, but for him it's a huge! Does anyone know why this is happening and how we can fix it?

I'm having the exact same issues (Arcade 2P mode) but I don't have any attached wheels. However, sometimes only my HUD is missing; sometimes both and sometimes it's for the other player that's missing the HUD?! WTF?!

I've searched through the options and tried different settings but with no luck?!

This only appeared after the recent update. It was fine before as we were playing quite often before hand.
