No lights in the rain?

I'm currently racing 1000km endurance, and it's raining most of the race. All other cars on the track including me hasn't got headlights on. Some on sidelights... I think it's ridiculous because it just looks silly. In real life races, they would put their lights on.

It's unrealistic. I think this error should be fixed.
 
When lights are tuning on is regulated by the game itself. So you are right, it would make sense to activate lights at rain.
 
Was it raining when the race started? Cars have their lights on from the start if that's the case, I think.

Yes, it was raining at the start, and cars didn't have lights on.
