I forgot to mention cordless phones, you know the old thing you had to plug into a wall jack.

They run on the 2.4ghz band as well.

Not all run that way. And some routers are multi-channel so you do not run into that problem
 
I run wireless with 12mb down and a good linksys router. I usually don't have any issues, but every once in awhile in get the error messages with GT5. Clearing the cache in the options menu usually fixes it. Rarely I'll have to reboot my modem.

This only happens with GT. It must be something on PD's end. Frustrating but it works.
