How long does it take for a moderator/administrator to reply to a private message that you send to them?
i sent messge to someone called daan earlier today and ive had nothing back could someone pickup this message and answer my question that i sent please
or if another moderator could sort it out for us woudl be much appreciated

Mods have lives also, he could be out all of today, just think about the number of pm's they must get, I'm sure Daan will get around to replying.

whe i posted the message it was read 20min after so you would have thought he would have the courtesy to reply or acknowledge receipt of it

It depends. We don't have a requirement to answer your call in less than three rings - we're in different timezones and we do different things with our lives.

That's assuming what you sent deserves a reply - most of what we get doesn't.

You could if you wish. However, if daan is dealing with whatever issue you have - and bear in mind that all the staff are made party to all moderating decisions - then you'd be better served by leaving it with him.

PM sent. I had compiled a reply ages ago, and copied it to the mods forum, but for some reason it didn't get sent. I must have been side tracked by work. So sorry that my life doesn't revolve around you.
