No Top Gear track

I need a little help with this one:

I've won the Top Gear Samba Bus challenge (bronze), but I still haven't unlocked the Top Gear test track in practice or arcade mode. Am I doing something wrong or missing something? According to GTPedia I should have unlocked it by now.

If you have won it you get gold not bronze

You need to gold it to unlock the track.

The Sambabus challenge is based heavily around trial and error - try not to spend much time out of a draft and look for places to cut if you can (though the TGTT does have some very annoying sections where you can get disqualified without warning).
If you just want the track, then don't bother trying the other challenges - the second is easy but the last one can be very irritating, and the only prizes you get are a couple of standard cars.

Thanks for the replies, I just got the gold. All I really wanted was the track. It just dawned on me when I wanted to go practice, it wasn't there. But yeah, I think the Top Gear challenges are a pain, mainly because of the disqualifications.
