Is that right?
I could set up long races in GT5 and force a couple of pit stops.
Is it there somewhere? Only just seen that after trying to finish career mode.

I think with GT5 it came a bit later. I hope they don't leave it out as I don't bother with online and single player will be crap without that.

Once you get to S section tire wear and fuel is on and exaggerated so you will need to make some pit stops and use a little strategy on tire selections

I wish they had tire wear in arcade mode. In GT5 they had it in practice mode, they should bring it back. I don't care much for driving with the AI with tire wear, they cheat too much - I'd rather it for hot lapping or practice.

Oh Man, I hadn't even noticed yet that they had done away with the tire wear in these parts of the game, that's disappointing. Why PD, why does there have to be so many backward steps in GT6 from GT5??????

Pd has proven time and again it is the single most incompetent developer of racing games, ever. The stupid decisions they make boggle my mind as to how someone can be that stupid.

Oh please! This is nonsense. Thats why they have so much pedigree heh? On topic. I am disappointed too without fuel and tyre wear. I dont play online but spend a lot of timw in arcade and hot lapping. I must say arcade mode in gt5 was great for setting up 50 lap races with all that stuff on. Unfortunately now the car matching has gone backwards too. In gt5 if you used a gt500 from the arcade section you could run against and entire gt 500 field..same with nascar. Now all these random cars are thrown together. Yuck! That said I am enjoying the game if not held back slightly by a poor arcade mode. Hope this arsa of the game gets some attention.

You must not have played lots of racing games.

EDIT: Way of me to dig up a month-old thread. I am an idiot.
