This thread is for nominations for the Most Helpful member of GTPlanet: a person who is always ready to help you solve a problem, work with you, and keep you in the right direction. And if they don't know the answer, they will try to find it out!

Nomination Guidelines:
  • You may only nominate one person. You can change this nomination by editing your post. I will not gather the names until nominations are complete.
  • If someone has already nominated the person you want to nominate, please nominate someone else or don't nominate anyone at all.
  • You may not nominate members who have not contributed to the community (i.e. less than 5 posts). Unless you have a very good reason, these nominations will be taken as a joke.
  • All serious nominations will be accepted, and the entire community will be able to vote for each nominee later.
  • You may add your comments to your post as to why you are nominating who you are. However, please do not discuss other's nominations. You will have your opportunity to let your feelings be known.
  • Please make only one post in this thread (your nomination).
 
Changing my nomination to Famine, very helpful in the hybrids forum...

I nominate Der Alta. Always helpful, always willing to relate what he's seen, heard, or done. Constructive without being a babysitter.
 
I make no nomination in this thread and apologise for this and all of my posts in the GTP Awards forum. I was not out of line and I received no direct criticism based on my posts, however I do not feel these boards have the kind of spirit necessary for them to sustain my continuing support for these awards.
 
I'll second Giles Guthrie, Neon Duke and add that I'm torn between Pako and Talentless.

(I can't tell if that other nomination for him was supposed to be retracted or not)
 
boombexus is always willing and able to help when questions arise on the weekly race series. very quick replys and solid accurate results, on time, every week. if that isn't helpful, i don't know what is. he along w/ the weekly race series keep me coming back here.
 
I say RazorGTR. I say this for several reasons:

1. He is very helpfull in general and when it comes to GTR's. He even spent his own time and money sending me translated nissan skyline manuals! What a guy.

2. I have yet to see any spam, participation in or starting threads that are stupid (like the britany spears thread) from this user.

4. No name calling or critisizing people. He adds his POV without making the other person feel stupid.

3. I have never once seen him violate the terms and conditions of GTP. RazorGTR is definatley a rolemodel GTP user.
 
I had a few lil' problems with neon duke at first, but i have to say that he is up there.
there are so many helpful ppl here tho :)
 
I nominate Pupik. he is very helfpul and his GT2 website has helped me loads.:)
