Has anyone else noticed this in any of the races. There appears to be the normal road going BMW M3 in the game aswell as the BMW M3 GTR, but the normal road going version of the BMW M3 is not playable. I raced against one in a lap knockout race today, it was purple and had yellow wheels. I don't think it was the GTR beacause for one, it was to slow to be the GTR, to the extent it got knocked out on the first lap, but only be the narrowst of margins mind you so it wasn't dog slow but clearly slower than the GTR. It also had a different spoiler to the GTR, and you could see inside the vechile there was no rollcage, which the GTR version of the M3 did have. And you can't fit aftermarket rollcages in the game so that has nothing to do with it. Can anyone shead some light on this?

Edit: I forgot to mention the wheels looked like they were aftermarket and come to think of it that might have been the case with the spoiler as well!

Yes, there is a normal road going version, (based on the M3 GTR Straßenversion i think), i also saw it as a competitor but never managed to get one, even with completed career mode, nor it appeared as an unlockable in the quick race menu. Maybe it was for the collectors edition...

Here's something else intresting. I managed to stop it moving completley by knocking down a pursuit braker in front of it. It flew through the air for a brieft moment, landed and got stranded on it. It tried to drive away because the wheels were moving but you could also hear the engine revving. I sounded like an M3 GTR but on half-revs. Maybe they wanted to include the normal M3 in the game aswell, but there were performance limitations of the consles, so they disguised an M3 GTR as a normal M3 and made it an competitor only. This would explain why it was slow, because it was running at half revs. Or at least thats what it sounded like!

Did it have the same bumpers as the GTR you can drive? If so, it was still a GTR. I've heard the GTR road version is in Most Wanted: Black Edition.
