does anyone know a website I could go to to get engine/performance specs for non sports cars kinda like older family cars. i.e. ford crown victoria, chrysler lebaron etc?

Try looking through old Car and Drivers and/or Road and Tracks, they have usually on 2 pages performance specs for each car that came out recently around the time of the mag issue.

That also reminds me that I need to try to find some late '80s Mazda articles. ;)

If you are looking for a specific car, I have some older mags that I could look through for the car, and scan the specs/articles...

I think I would start with Google. I used them to find pictures of the old Ford Scorpio.

Have you tried them? (Google I mean, not Ford Scorpios)

thanx guys :) I tried to search several times but came out with nothing:banghead: If you could find anything the cars i am looking for are:

1983 chrysler Lebaron 2.6L with 3 speed automatic
and
1991 ford crown victoria with 305 V-8

I don't know about Furds, but try www.allpar.com for the Chrysler products. They've got all manner of info there from plain vanilla Ks to muscle cars.
