ok i hate to do this and i know yall get tired of it but i serched and coulent find what i wanted

best car to start with im thinkin miata what do yall think?

in the alterative i can get all golds in a license test but thats to hard

ok so heres the question i heard if played right (skiping races) i have all my licences except supercar,i only have to buy 3 cars anyone have any idea what cars they are
 
Welcome to GTP, altezza.You need to buy some Mercedes for the Silver Arrow races, I think a TT for the Audi series, and I believe a TVR Tuscan.

Miata is a popular start; so is the Trueno.
 
starting with the miata is a good choice...you'll also find out that the cheapest miata is the strongest and fastest miata...that's the car i started with....other than that your next best choice is the old skool corolla..the hachi roku...those are your two best choice...and the other cars you need are....a fast car..F1 for exm. a gt-r,a evo, a car w/ boxer engine(porshe/subaru), well there are lots you need to win the game...btw welcome to GTP..
 
I think Neon was talking about the Speed 6, not the Speed 12...;)
 
you can ONLY use the Speed 6 in the TVR challenge....so you HAVE TO buy a speed 6, regardless...
An Audi TT can be won in the amateur american race im pretty sure, so that one you don't havto buy....
and the mercedes silver arrow race....that ones needs to be ran with a purchased car.

to answer your question, the two cars that you need to buy to complete the game are the TVR Tuscan Speed 6 and Any of the 3 Dealership Mercedes Benz cars (SLK230, CLK55, CL600)

if you would like to plan ahead on which cars to use for which races, take a look at the prize car list on the main page...it comes with all the possible prize cars w/ pictures and stats! there is indeed many routes that can be taken in what races you want to do first....but near the end you can do whichever ones you want so long as you have the cars.

I chose to play my first time through buying AS MANY cars as possible....because i wanted to feel every aspect of the game....for example...
lightweight FF's
" " FR's
" " 4WD's
" " MR's
Average FF's
" " FR's
" " 4WD's
" " MR's
Heavy FF's......and so on...

this way you really get a feel on how cars handle, it just builds upon your driving skills and expectations of a car. When I'm done my first time (i just passed 70% today, but taking my time) I will probobly be doing either the use only prize cars + the 2 purcahsed ones or, i will try what Gumpy is doing!!! trying to do as much of the game as possible with only Mazdas! (Miata > RX-7 > RX-7 LM > 787B, and the Demio for the lightweight cup) But that leaves races such as the TT races and elise cups that would havto be polished off later on....anyway have fun racing!
