I am new to drifting and really not that good.So I wanted to come to the professionals and find out what would be the best car to drift.I bought a few FR cars to test but none of them seem to be much good.
I have a Silvia 240RS '83
Alfa Guila Sprint
Corvette '53

Am I using the right cars or should I buy a more trusted type of drifting car?
Any help or settings would be greatly appreciated.

Grab an S13 Silvia. I've been using the premium lately and it drifts easily, no weird quirks and pretty stable.

Drifting weird stuff is awesome and highly encouraged, but if you want something to learn on you can't beat the S13 :)

As for settings, start out with just comfort tires matched to the power of the car. With the S13 I use Comfort Softs.

It'll drift fine in stock form, if you wanna make some general adjustments start with like...2/1 (front/rear) negative camber, stock toe in should be fine, I think it's like .20 rear, and I lowered the front and back 15mm.

agreed... 350/370Z are also good choices... i'm learning on a 370Z and I feel that I'm progressing nicely.

I will but my "projects" to the side and learn to drift properly before I start tinkering about with odd cars.
Cheers for the setups and hints

I'm using 200sx . I improved my drift skill with my lovely NISSAN 200SX , now searching for 240sx 96 <3 Love that car ;)

I have done a deal for a premium RX7 FC,is it a sideways car?
Or would I be better in my Carlton?

A few good cars to start off stock are (IMO):
Nissan 240sx series(S15, S14,S13)
Toyota Trueno 83 AE86/ SS edition
Mazda Rx-7 series
BMW M3 or 3 series
Honda S2000's
but some cars don't work for everyone.
Car for a Drifting Beginner

the viper gts works for me so far but its still a project, i was using a c6 z06 before with suspension and tire upgrades

I drift the..
Mustang V8 coupe premium 07`
Chevrolet Corvette 69`
BMW 2002 turbo I believe is a 72`
I will post pics of them in action later.

If looking for something stranger- Ferrari 512BB- doesn't need much cash to be put into it- N2/N3 (yeye, old GT4 names) tires and suspension will make it fly.
