@Mods - I apologise if their is already a similiar thread, the search didn't bring one up :)

I won the Zonda R today in B-Spec (on my alt account) and decided it was about time that I tested it out on my test tracks (Autumn Ring, Monza No Chicane, Le Sarthe 2009 T&W, Nordeschleife T&W).

The final test track being the mighty Nordeschleife, whilst I'm no Ring King I do enjoy taking my cars there for a spin (and spin I do haha). Using Racing Wets.

The 'ring is a handful in itself, however the added factor of rain and a wet track make this a major exercise in throttle control :scared:, I dont think I went over 1/3rd throttle or brake bar the back straight.

For those looking for a challenge and some fun, try using the Time and Weather Nordeschleife in PRACTISE:tup:

Time - 8:25.364 :yuck: Had 2 spins, one at the very last corner where I downshifted too early and into 2nd rather than staying in 3rd which caused the Zonda R to flatspin like Maverick in Top Gun:dunce:

Now try a NASCAR Stock Car on Racing Hards, see if you can lap it in the wet without spinning or hydroplaning straight into the grass:sly:

I was bored enough to actually try that :ouch:

:scared: I dont know if I'm THAT bored

Tried the rainy Nordschleife in an Audi R8 V8 and ragequitted out of just one crash.

Don't have the motivation yet to do another run, but still worth another try.

I use the Zonda in the Dreamcar Championship for fun! you're right about the throttle control!:) I do this alot no matter what car I have because no matter what place you come in, you still get money and xp. I've done this race in JGTC and NASCAR cars. You don't always win but at least you get some credits for practicing on the wet Ring!👍

Sweet :D

Yesterday I drove a S2000 (300hp/11xxkg) for 4 laps around the Nurburgring time/weather change course. It was a one make race, so no credits, but WOW was it challenging!

Surely not as difficult as a Zonda R, but I drove with most of the aids off and had so much fun.

Damage was on heavy, and my best time was around 10 minutes (wasn't pushing to hard), on the 2nd lap the game glitched and wouldn't pause and when I entered the pits I had full control of the car!

Was pretty interesting to try 360s and j turns from a side view camera, but I bet it won't happen again. Had to restart the game because I damaged the car so bad in the pit lane it wouldn't go above 80mph :)

Definately going to try out my matte white Zonda R tonight. Oh yeah, cool pics!

Yeah I did it myself on the ring....24hrs for three laps, and I have to tell you the rain and in the dark made me  and :scared: I was yeah .

But you learn something out of it.... How to handle powerful cars on wet surfaces. Try it again with no aids on then that will take you to lunch! :nervous: :scared:

And I'm thinking of doing that real soon.

LOL, that's weird because I find Audi R8 V8 with Sports hard without TC are one of the most car that handles very well on rainy tracks (with Aston Martin DB9)

Yeah, it handles well, I just screwed up and plowed into the wall.

Yeah I did it with no Aids besides ABS set at 1. 👍
Lets just say the best description would be tip toeing! :nervous:

And you brave the wind, rain and the darkness with the Zonda R with those settings...

I give u a :D:tup:

Now the bigger challenge: try that with a Speed 12 built for turning and have at least 1000+bhp. :trouble:👍 :nervous:

Yeah it's a great shame no one races in the rain online... As soon as you set a weather change track bye bye they all go..
