This is a great video. The guy is in a VLN race in a Porsche GT3 car. I noticed how much of a difference there is as far as driving around the Nordschliefe in real life, and GT5. A lot of the spots i'm on the throttle, the guy isn't. He's either lifting or braking. I don't know if he's a front runner, but it's still cool to watch. 👍
 
Drive your car with ABS off with the correct brake bias and then compare again 👍 Great video by the way.
 
He do need to think about his health.. Full throttle to gain 2-5/10 of a second is hardly worth it keeping in mind that a mistake at those speeds at the real ring is, if not deadly, so really close to it.

The times we see around the Nordschleife in GT5 are impossible to achieve in real life.. Look at the aliens times around here in the stock GT-R.. If I'm not mistaken, theye are really close to 7 minutes flat.. A lot because aliens in GT5 don't need to care about health and money.. It's possible that the real GT-R's thoretical best lap is 10ish seconds faster compared to the official 7:24, but no one will ever attempt such a lap, mostly because it will sertainly cost that driver his life, and secondly, cause there's no way he'll have 50 new cars waiting for him at the start line all ready to go again. ;)
Oh, and also that the driver after a 150 mph crash most likely don't gets beamed back in 5 seconds to his new and warmed up GT-R without a scratch. :lol:

Btw: It looks like the footage is from the 24 hour race, so no need to push over every bump like a TT in GT5 either.. Concistancy 👍

Oh and uh, cue the "HEY, THAT'S A GT BANNER ON THE FRONT WINDSHIELD!!! THAT MUST MEAN WE ARE GETTING NEW DLC!" people.

The car is tuned with an ESS Supercharger.. Around 550 bhp if I recall..
 
Nice video! I hope future GT titles will feature mixed races like this :)

I also hope all online gamers out there takes notes of this:
- The Porsche in front actually knows what a defensive line is
- The Porsche in front doesn't get punted off the road for "clearly obstructing him"
- He actually ease on the throttle a second before he has to, because there is a car in front of him and he knows that that car is probably going to brake soon.
- He doesn't attempt mad overtakes even if he could. Instead he is waiting for a good opportunity.
 
Very nice video. The line the driver/s take is very similar to how I drive, albeit slower as, as far as I am concerned, no SIM will ever be as good as Real Life.

Also, as its on the Nurburgring Type V (Check the GP Track layout), I guess it could be a fair bet that this is during the Nurburgring 4 Hours.

The second video with the Beemer.. :drool: That sound just gave me a crisis.

The car in this sounds like all of Forza 4's - Good, but very grating after a while, would hate to do an endurance race on Forza!

The corner at 2:16 (don't know name) looks different than in game!

But for saying PD don't laser scan it's extremely close to real life, it must have taken a hell of a lot of time to model and get it as good as they have, PD needs some big respect for that!👍

Porsche really needs to improve the sound effects for their cars. :yuck:
It sounds like a vacuum cleaner. What were they thinking? 👎
