No offence to Mods, but, is it normal on this forum for threads to be locked because their not entirely to do with the 'section'/topic they are started in? Even though you clearly state that you have posted there through your lack of finding the correct topic. (*and breathe....*:))

They will be locked if the subject is being discussed elsewhere in the forums, if not the thread will be moved to the relevant place. This thread for example, has nothing to do with GT5, so will be either moved, or answered and then locked.
Mods just try to stop the forums getting cluttered up to make them easier to use.

It seems to depend on the mod in question. Some will move the thread and others will lock it. As you've had your question answered this will probably be locked soon as well.

Forgive my ignorance, but i don't see the sense in locking a thread just because a primary answer has been reached. But, in the end, what can you do.......

Once the question has been answered what more can you hope to get from it? There is already a general discussion thread.
Your thread on posting pictures was closed because A) It was in the wrong section of the forum, and B) The information you requested was already available. The Mod even provided a link to it.
It really does not warrant a new thread being started, rules is rules.

You have posted this in the wrong section. This section is for questions and answers relating to GT5, not the gtplanet forum.
