Nos and Tuner Village?

How do you activate nitrous?

And what's the point of Tuner Village? Does it give you some speed boost or something? I'm in a hurry and don't have time to search so if it's a question that has been asked constantly, feel free to flame :scared:
 
tuner village has additional "Tuner" cars
"hotted" up japanese cars mainly - I think there's a VW also with tuning company decals.
as for NOS - Read the instruction book. Once you add NOS to a car you activate it with one of the shoulder buttons or however you have your buttons set up. You can play with the power/duration of the boost to get the setting you want.

oh yeah - SEARCH DAMMIT!!!
 
In the time it takes to post a question here, couldn't you have just as easily looked for yourself in the key configuration menu and inside Tuner Village?

Is there a difference between tuning a car with a Tuner company and tuning it with their own manufacterer tuner?

From the tuner you can get Original Suspension and Stage 5 Turbo for some cars, the manufacturer tuners don't sell these parts. Other parts are identical no matter if you buy them from the manufacturer or some tuner company.

Aren't some of the tuner parts cheaper too? Not sure but maybe I'm thinking from car to car :confused:
 
yes, the parts are cheaper....not significantly, but every little bit helps
 
I didnt know the parts were cheaper also. And one thing, please don't call nitrous, nos. Unless u r talking about a Nitrous Oxide System, then you can say N.O.S. Please dont be like Fast and the Furious. The Original Suspension allows for stiffer spring rates than the manufacturer Full Customize Suspension. The Stage 5 Turbos have almost the same power output as the Stage 4 (or for smaller displacement engines, only stage 2 or 3 are the highest output turbos available), more or less. Also, the Stage 5's also dont lag as much as the stage 3 or 4, even though lag is not much of a problem in GT4, with the exception of the Option Stream Z (below 3500 rpm, it lags like no other)
 
The Nitrous system in GT4 is a NOS system so regarding GT4's system either is correct.
 
:sly: Not all acronyms have to use periods. Infact its more an issue of taste nowadays, i.e. FIFA or EFTPOS as compared to M.C.G or W.A.C.A.. So both are correct, like Live4Speed said.

If PD refers to it as NOS, that's good enough for me.

I never knew you could get a higher stage turbo from tuner village. Can you recall off-hand a particular car that allows this?
 
It's not stricly a higher stage turbo, more an alternative turbo to the sage 4, it usually produces a littel bit less power but less lag as well, though the lower la more than makes up for the small power loss.

You can make up the "lost" power with other upgrades, IMO, Stage 5 > Stage 4 Turbo.
