So, it's my Birthday today..:dunce::dunce: and i was interested to see what Kaz and the guys would gift me on this occasion.

I was born in 89 so perhaps the Mercedes Sauber C9 would be nice..

When have you been dudded with tickets??

-There should be a system where they randomly select 3 cars and you only get to drive away in one of them, that way you don't feel completely ripped off if you get something a little 'cheap'

I've long given up relying on luck. I save now. And if I don't like what I'm given, I restore the save.
 
:lol: an MX-5 I guess I was kinda lucky I was born in 85, but seriously doctorrg just gave you some good advice and another good option if you have a backup would have been to trade for something in marketplace

On topic.. I got the 85 Pajero rally car for my bday, but I already had it :(
 
I got the Honda Today G '85 as my birthday ticket a couple of weeks ago, and a Honda Civic 1500cc '79 as my Ticket 1000 shortly after.

Not only both fantastic performance cars, but I already had them too, just like everyone else.

This Friday, I'm expecting exactly the same car to come out from my Birthday Ticket! :)

I'll just restore the save until I get it... :)
 
I feel your pain, I've never gotten anything worth mentioning through a ticket. Any car would be a standard car like a Civic or RX-7, and even Nascar tickets and rally tickets have only awarded me cars I already have.

Save and restore as mentioned above. 👍

I'm born in 1977, so there is only the Lancia Stratos Rally car every year for me. Although I doubt I'll be playing GT5 for that many years.
 
I had a '89 skyline on august but I don't care since I already have sauber and minolta :D
 
You could have quit, restored a backup and tried again.

What am I supposed to say? Being born in '72, I have the choice between a Honda Life Step Van and a Fiat 500. End of list.

I got a 500 with a really nice colour and 0km on it, so at least you can shoot some nice pictures... :sly:

I got my birthday ticket back in June... A 1990 ticket... And since i've got all of the cars (currently before spec II) i've not been bothered even opening it...

Because, well... Only crap cars in that year... -.-

I got the Isuzu Piazza for my birthday and I bet I will will get it again this year... happy times.

I got the Mitsibishi Starion 4WD Rally Car '84 for mine this year, though I haven't used it once yet. :/
 
If I got anything bad out of a ticket, I don't remember it.

1st 1000 ticket - premium Takata NSX - score!
2nd 1000 ticket - Buick GNX - also score! I love it, and it looks great in dark red of all things.
3rd 1000 ticket - BMW 120d - Not too bad, but decent. Best luck in the world would have been a Chapparal 2J (so I wouldn't have to grind for it), but it's a diesel so tuning it should be interesting.

Of course, the way it seems to be trending, I wouldn't be surprised to get something lame next time. But there are a few lame cars I want anyway... the Daihatsu Storia X4 and the '97 Suzuki Alto Works (in red) come to mind...

Like I said some days ago, just like the OP... today is my birthday and I was expecting to get a Sauber Merc from my 1989 Ticket at some point (by restoring the save, of course)...

But guess what? :dopey: I didn't have to wait a thousand reloads for it... 👍

Better than the MR2 that I got... and I even played fair and patiently waited for mine for like 8 months. Oh well.

I think I tried it again look for something cooler, got a FWD celica. Sigh.

this car is a beast with stage 3 turbo since it hits full boost psi it is a hell of a sleeper and pulls very hard, i have completely destroyed cars before costing trice or tripple as much i love this car i have 3. 175 mph with 0 miles with a breaked in engine. and not to mention...it weighs under 730 kg and hp can get up to 268 (0 miles with break in) KEEP IT!
 
Least I now know what 72 gift I will be getting in three weeks. But at least kaz is giving me spec 2.0.....
 
I received a premium Mazda 787B from my birthday ticket in July.
