This problem occured within 30 minutes ago. I was going to play on one of those 10 minute endurance races, but when it finished loading up, only 4 racers, minus me, showed up. When I tried to start the race, it said "Cannot start the race. The racing information is invalid." And when I clicked on Quick Options, it did nothing. I tried to again on another track, and it did the same thing. Tried it on another campaign, still did the same thing. When I tried to race via Quick Race Singleplayer, the screen went black, like it crashed, and went back to the racing menu. I think my game just got game over'd or something.

On topic - Anyway,It's something new for me,never heard about this kind of issue before. You're sure that your game disk and laser are okay?
 
I'd recommend deleting the game data and reinstalling all of it.
(or turn it off and back on again, if you haven't tried that yet)

Happened once (upon a time) when I was too fast leaving tune section going into event (I suspect that was cause ) and ended up in empty race lobby > no AI , no me , just menu and option to enter/exit event :D

Reboot GT and everything will be fine.
 
Oh thank god. I thought I was going to throw up. It's good to know that GT6 and my PS3 are okay...

but they need to fix it in the next update.
 
I had a similar glitch, I usually test new cars on Big Willow, but once, when I clicked on "Driving options", the screen turned black... It was actually loading, and loaded up Indianapolis road course. :boggled:
When i would click on anything in that newly loaded menu, it would bring me back to Willow, BUT when i'd click on anything in the Willow menu aswell, GUESS WHAT I'm back at Indianapolis. :odd:
I was like, WTF???
Restarted game, works fine, problem solved. :cool:
 
I have had this happen to me twice..once when I tried to do an Arcade race and once when I tried career race. Both times it was solved by restarting the game/PS3
