Not possible to select tyre type (online race) if using Pad

Some drivers in our endurance league are using the pad (DS3). For them it is not possible to select tyre type and amount of fuel if entering the pits during online races with "Minimum No. of Pit Stops" set to 1 and "Require Tyre Type Change" to true. May anyone else confirm this? Any solutions? Thanks for your answers.
