I still recall the first time I played GT3. I was elated when I saw I had 18,000 credits to start with instead of 10,000. Maybe I might actually get a real car to start with, I thought. Wrong. All of the cars under 18,000 were crap. The MA70 Supra, my favorite car to start with, was gone. The Savanna RX-7 was too expensive. Even the Civic SiR-II was out of my reach. ****. I gave up seeking a supercar and purchased a PT Cruiser (big mistake!).
Race time. I entered the Super Speedway competition. My car was decent off the line, outrunning all but the Civic SiR-II. I spent all three laps tailgating the Civic, mere inches behind its rear bumper. I came in second. Not much more to say, but it was an exciting race as I always seemed on the verge of passing the Civic, only to fail again.
