Not Receiving Paint Chips

I wasn't able to find anything about this specifically so I aologize if it has been covered before.

I have noticed some cars from the premium dealerships don't give you paint chips. The Viper SRT10 ACR '08 is the one I remember most. There were a couple of Suzukis that did not either... the Cappucino EA11R was one of them. I know there are more but I can't remember them at the moment. I would understand if these were special paint jobs but they are just solid colors. Can anyone offer some insight into this?
 
Not all vehicles come with paint chips, although I'm sure some of the ones you have mentioned should come with one. Have you checked your items list to see if the paint chips enter there, just without the notification?

Like that awesome fire black color on the MP4-12c. man i'd give my first born child for that paint.

I should have clarified. They have named paint schemes - the viper one I chose was "Viper Violet" and the Cappucino was "Cordoba Red" I think. I did double check my paint list and they are not there.

Ah I see, well with that I don't think I can help. Sorry.
 
Maybe you have reached the total allowable number of items, which I think is 7,000. After you reach that limit, you won't be able to recieve anymore paint until you delete some items. These items include paint, suits, etc. Are you able to recieve any paint at all or just those specific colors.

Lol. Nowhere near that number. I have like 1,800 paints, 930 cars, 200 suits and a few hundred museum cards. I can receive paints.

Alright, just thought I'd throw that out there to you. My main has reached the limit before so thats why I brought it up. Cars and museum cards don't count in the items list, if I'm not mistaken.

I wish it were that simple. Personally I think it is a glitch. I'll keep playing and see if it happens again.
