Noteable BOB's

Because of PSN being down, I took some time doing B-Spec races yesterday. I've had the game since November but never bothered with B-Spec much. Only had it to level 3 till yesterday.

Once I was able to hire a second BOB, I noticed quite the library of last names. Some good racer names too! I took the time (about 10 min) to finally land K. Kobayashi.

I then retired my first no name BOB and replaced him with P. Lamy. It took me 90 freakin minutes to get that first initial/last name! Once I got to B-Spec lvl 10 and was able to hire a 3rd driver, it took me about 30 min to find S. Perez.

It's the little things about GT5 that make me smile :-)

Anyone else as nerdy as me and find some good, real driver names for your BOB's?
 
One time I spent nearly an hour looking for A.Senna or K.Kobayashi, they never came up. :grumpy::grumpy::grumpy: The only interesting name I have is E.Ferrari. :)
 
That people even spend that much time to find a virtual name. Getalife.com is where you need to go =P

I looked for names that were different than what we normally hear. Got rewarded for it with a "Colorful Trophy" on my first B-Team Endurance race.
 
I have a B. Senna and a T. Faust, I've never seen another cool name appear.
 
I've seen the last names Schumacher and Hamilton... I know I'll get the right first initial for those one day. Those are the two I want the most. How long it takes to get them is the question...

I saw the last names Senna, Alonso and Massa but never with the correct first initial. Ugh!
 
I look for names that are unusually short and simple, some of my racers include:
B.Pons
I.Wall
T.Odom
Z.Short

Sucks though because theyre all stuck online ( _ _)

B. Senna
 
I was looking for funny names and then this one came up... m. schumacher.

My first bob is called E Bird... because everyone knows that bird is the word!

I have F.Alonso came to me fairly quickly, he is a Level 40 driver and actually better than his IRL counterpart at the minute. 👍

R Macdonald but he is terrible he is always in the pits looking 4 the drive thru LOL
 
I got S.Vettel very quickly for my second bob so decided to try and find some others. Ended up getting M.Shumacher, F.Alonso, F.Massa, L.Hamilton also very quick.

Once my first bob S.Ferrari has got me the trophy and i retire him, i will search for M.Webber to complete the set of current F1 drivers. :)

I know he is out there.

I currently have among my collection B. Collins, aka the old stig - shame there's no white suit white helmet combo for him :)
 
Every time I was name grinding I would hit the button too fast and miss the name I wanted. We really need a back button. :D
 
Please search before creating new threads. Chances are we have one that you could use already.
