Or however you spell it. Yeah I hate it, but I like it. I went to the dentist today and had a small gavity filled and the dentist said the novacane would wear off in an hour and its been 2 hours and I'm at school and its really hard for me to talk since my entire mouth is numb as ever. I want it to wear off!!!!:mad:

Why would you goto school after having a dentist appointment? I would be in bed, soaking in that great excuse!
 
My mother gets all her dental work done without anesthetic, because she says it lasts for 24 hours on her and drives her nuts.

She's had some hard core stuff done too, like implants, with little or no anesthetic.

I don't think it's the anasthetic that drove her nuts.

Heh, if she survived my three older sisters, I was a walk in the park by comparison.

I think I should also clarify that they were dental implants she had done...

I hate novacanne. The dentist always lies to you though.

"Yeah Matt, the numbness will go away in around an hour or so, you should have no nummy sensation after that."

Liar. I left the dentist at 4pm and the numbness didn't even start fading away until 9pm. It sucked.

My dad is an arse as I have explained to a few members here. He wouldnt let me go home after my dental appointment because then I would have only been at school for 1 period instead of 4(which I went to today). Yeah so self-humilation by means of novocaine is an excuse to make me go back to school and learn. Needless to say, I was quite stupid when I was forced to answer a question in French class, not being able to for one, feel my own tongue let alone speak a foreign language. I am just glad that today was not the Oral Exam in my French class because I would have failed miserably.
 
No I told her that I went to the dentist and my lip and tongue was numb, I wrote that down but she didnt care, she hates me so she made me speak French a bunch today.
 
No I tried to limit that since I didnt want droll all over my black leather seats in my beautiful but dented Acura Legend LS. :D
 
That stuff rocks! Last time they gave me some, they gave me three shots of it and it didn't wear off for five hours. I considered getting my lip pierced, but I didn't have the money.
 
Yeah mine didnt wear off for 4 hours, I should have pierced my tongue or lip or something;):p
 
You totally don't need to be numbed to get your tongue pierced. Biting your tongue hurts 100 times worse. If you can handle that, piercing is a piece of cake!

Anywho, you shouldnt be at school! Id stay home and enjoy the day off!

(But then again i did just get a whole week off.. and not no school vacation either.. ;);))
