The roosters, my favourite team, won the grand final against the auckland warriors last night. the score was 30 - 8. all that watched post your comments on the match here.

I think that the warriors just lost it in the last 20 mins, up until then they looked like strong contenders to win. that cheap shot on fittler was stupid and that guy was hammered afterwards :)

I thought Auckland were going to run over them when they scored that try at the start of the second half.

They were starting to tire when that hit on Freddie was made - the first one was fair enough, Freddie made a pretty soft fake to kick, but the second one was pretty crude. There wasn't a penalty in there, but it was a crook one. It fired Easts up and with Auckland tired it was pretty much over there.

The scoreline wasn't representative of how tight the game was - I think the Warrior big men just had to make too many tackles in the first half.

yeh, they tired them out, but i think auckland still need to learn a bit more teamwork. they lost the ball of a stupid pass and a non-dummy half once!!! :shakehead

Yes the second 'tackle' on fittler wasnt legit but what about the third try?? The damn vid ref must've been blind, even in slow mo its obvious it was a second movement, even if he did land on the line, he oviously didnt think so.

it was a double movement...

it wasn't because he was still moving when he went over the line, he didnt stop, plus the ball didn't even touch the ground

well that sure didn't happen :reallyodd
