I thought the car was supposed to be a representation of the diecast GT-R model that came with the Special Collectors Edition? My model had the number 5 on it. Just wondering if this is another flub by PD? Does anyone else think that it should have at least been an adjustable number like the other race cars/stealths? If not adjustable then the number could have at least been #5, not #1.

I think you raise a very important point here. No doubt heads will roll within the halls of Polyphony Digital.

I think there's a thread on the main GT5 forum on this. Yes, it doesn't make much sense. Also, I haven't run the event yet, so do you have to gold for it, or just participate?

It's probably supposed to be changeable but PD forgot like they originally did with the R35 TC.

That made me  for some reason.

Just saying... if it's going to be a stationary number why the lame default #1. If it was(were) a #5, you'd have never heard a peep outta me. :(

This car was probably created at the beginning of time for GT5, so that may explain it. They have been doing GT Academy since a while back, though it just wasn't official, until now...

That's my guess; then again, I could be incorrect.

Don't worry Kaz already knows of the trouble.
