I tried looking for what this is but i could not find it at all.

I cant figure out what the numbers to the left of the post count is at all, at first i though it was posts in last 24hours but it is not that.

Does anyone know?

It's the number of topics the user has created. Click on it to see all of them.

I've actually wondered about that... I don't think there is, though I think it's safe to assume it'd be Jordan or some of the long-term staff. Anybody who's had to run a weekly competition has a good chance of leading that (my threads started goes up at least 2 a week for that reason).

Unfortunately, no, there's no way for users to do that with the forum's search tools.

I just noticed it myself. Is Jordan in the lab performing experiments of mass confusion?

I hope Jordan hasn't removed it because of confusion with new members, I actually used the link quite a bit.

Doesn't really matter though, I can still check on their profile. 👍

I don't really see purpose of thread counts besides being able to identify thread-creating monsters

 Yeah, sorry about that. The server's been experiencing some trouble behind the scenes and while examining the database query which produced a user's thread count (prompted by Fryz's question) it occurred to me that may have something to do with it. I've temporarily removed it for testing.

I indirectly broke it :dunce: or maybe helped fix it?

Eitherway when I saw the number was missing I hoped it wasnt because of my question as I find it useful to quickly search threads created by users.

Hope you get to the bottom of the issue Jordan 👍

I like it better the way it is for some reason. Looks more spacious and focuses more on the avatar.

^ As a moderator, quickly being able to see a users posts and threads in as few clicks as possible (one vs. four) is great.

Suppose, considering the amount of people who need to be checked by the mods for behavier.

Here, here.

Personally, the ratio is an interesting barometer of user behavior.

Any word on whether this feature will be returning?

Yeah, it won't be returning as all my suspicions were proven correct - its absence has alleviated serious problems I was facing with the site's infrastructure. I'm just kicking myself for not taking a closer look at that earlier. :ouch: Thanks to Grayfox for bringing this up or it may have taken me much longer to get to the bottom of the issue! 👍

Maybe like the PSN issue striking at GTP?
