I read in a newspaper that Audi is considering to enter the ELMS series to battle Peugeot in a few more races this year.

Not in the Nurb (too close to Le Mans) but from the Spa race (in August) on (meaning: Spa, Silverstone and Brasil).

I heard it was Peugeot who were seriously considering coming to America for the last two rounds of the ALMS in preparation for the LMS finale at Brazil. I also heard that if Audi were to contest a race in Europe it would be with the 3 car and it would most likely be at the 'Ring because it is so close to Le Mans. However, because of their accident in the early going at Le Mans, I imagine if that were to happen it would be later in the year, Spa perhaps? Depending on what goes down in the ALMS this year perhaps we will see the #1 and #2 Audi's in Brazil for the LMS finale. I can almost guarantee Peugeot want to stick it to Audi for beating them on Peugeot's home turf so they'll want to come to what has become Audi territory and beat them here (which as we have seen with the likes of Creation and Zytek in recent years seems very possible). I hear that Peugeot will be heading up a rather lengthy addition to the ALMS for the final two rounds of the series though that is probably just rumor, scurrilous rumor.
