I remember seeing a thread awhile ago about the 4h race on nur. The person said he had a Camaro SS modded but not RM. When he got to the karrousel he stopped the car and all the AI stopped behind him since it was too narrow. They were behind him for the duration of the race. I know what everyone will say. Use the search. I did. I can't find the thread. I wanna do this so I don't have to race for 4 hours but I need to know if I was the karousel or the segement of track like the karousel before the long straight. Also if it was at the light Tarmac or the dark Tarmac at the top. Then finally if was at the beginning of it, the middle, or the final part of the turn. If anyone would be so kind as to tell me this info or the link to the existing thread I'd appreciate it.

I really hope this is true, if so I will use Jay Leno's Tank Car for the ultimate road block. :)
 
I've tried the tank car. It can't keep up with the cars since it's too slow because it weighs 3500kg. This doubles as my begging for more replies post.
 
interesting...if it works,too bad we can't teach this to our b-spec Bobs...
 
I'm asking for help. Not just putting it out there for people to say "interesting" to.
 
I remember the thread. Tried it and couldn't get it to work. Of all the races to cheat though, this one may be the worst as it, imo, is the best race on the game.


Edit: It was in the middle of the karrousel.

It might help to not seem like a jerk when asking for "help" in cheating the game.
 
Ya. I just realized that made me look like a jackass. I'm angry due a non related issue at the moment. My apologies, themartlab.

I'll have to try the middle in the morning.
 
Too bad there isn't any other way to make the other more boring races easier.

I love the Nord but not the F1 bit.
 
We need to be able to save the games state and be able to exit so we can vontinue these races later. Even I cant be stuffed sitting there here for 4 hours non stop.

I enjoyed it after having a close race which I only won by 3 seconds :D
 
Well, you still have to wait the whole 4 hours to finish, so why not have some fun at the same time and drive??

Personaly I think the AI pass you in the end because they keep crashing into you until there through.

Couldn't agree with you more. And besides, don't you have to be in 1st AND cross the finish line at the end in order to win? Won't stopping somewhere along the track and just staying there negate any wins for anyone? Or is the game so stupid(DON'T ANSWER THAT!) that it doesn't care about the s/f line and gives the payout to whoever's in first at the the end of the 4 hours no matter where on the track they are?

I'm gonna try this and see if it works. What's the narrowest part of the track?

I hope this works, because then it would save me a lot of time, I'll get bored even when driving for 2 hours, nevermind 4...
