I've gone back to finish Golding the rest of the special events so I can get my GT5 platinum trophy...

And I noticed that slow cars on the AMG academy full lap runs pull over to the right when you approach them at high speed. It makes it easy to pass them to the left every time.

It's nice. But it's not very challenging. They all just pull over now.

I absolutely hated it when the cars stayed in the way. I can see the difficulty of it bettering your experience, just not something I enjoyed. The tight races that could have been won had it not been for that stupid guy that was in my way, DAMN IT!! That's my reaction.

It's how it's supposed to be when people hotlap the Ring in real life. The cars aren't there to compete with. I would really love a "mode" like this. I think this is like what Rivals Mode is in FM4, I'm not entirely sure though.

I completely forgot that's what the AMG academy full laps had. That's when I realized I wanted a mode like that to drive any car around a track with random cars cruising along with me going pedal to the metal. Can't really do that on the streets, so this is the next best thing, before C-Spec free roam.

They did it before, if you read the challenge description it says something along the lines of it being a track day and the other cars follow the proper Nurburgring etiquette of pulling over to the right for the faster car as would be instructed at the actual track outside of races.
