Crap thats nice. Youre roughly 2 seconds behind the old Sauber race car vid and the sauber was making 230mph/370kph on the last straight. The car handled really well too. What was admirable was how you were able to ballance out breaking and keeping the accelerator down so that the turbo was still spooling.

👍

ahhh, you caught that. Keeping the turbo up on boost adds to great exit speeds. On a track of this length it really adds up.
Thanks for the compliments. :)

I was hot lapping the 'ring' in the beemer and this was my final time. Used stage 4 turbo. I had one close call almost putting 4 tires off but maintained 2 tires on the bricks so I kept the run.

Huge respect to you mate. Anything under the 5:39 is flying, I'm currently at 5:41, have been on for the 39 but keep loosing it.

Would you mind telling me your settings, and did you use a wheel? I use a pad and am finding it difficult to feed the power in.

thanks mate, thats much appreciated. I'll have a go with those settings soon.

I'm more baffled as to how you got to sector two in 1:01.6, I'm a second off that with my best ever. :(

that cars perfect for the burg. only been using it recently but loving it.

It wasn't easy, thats for sure. 1'02.1's were the norm, but was dipping into the 1'01's, just got to hit a good first sector.

I like the BMW for the 'ring' also, just drives so well there.

your setting dont work for me at all I'm afraid. My spring rates and hieght are similar but your shocks and ARB are stronger. I find the cars skitish over the fast bumpy bits with them up. Turned off the TC completely and managed to get into the '01's by the second sector but kept loosing grip on the slow twisty bits. I really must get a wheel and pedals, cant get on with the stick on the pad so have to use the buttons.

I'm sure I'll get into the 39's but havent got the time at the moment.

Cheers for the help anyway.

I have noticed on setups, they usaully do not interchange well from wheel users to DS2 users.
I can tell you this though, your setup will have to be a compromise, the car has to be a bit unstable in parts of this track to be fast in others. That was my experience for what it's worth.

Awesome!! I also noticed, too, you play the game with Km/h rather than M/h. Judging by the comments, I'm the only that noticed. Keep up the great work and I am too a d-pad user and find the settings for most people with wheels more difficult to drive the cars. But after some testing and retesting, I find the softer the better...However, nice job man!! 👍 :)
