I just made a dream come true. I played for 2 hours today to beat that my old 4'48.108, and finally i´ve got it. I was aiming mainly for a 4'45, for some time i really thought i would never more get it again, since i had 4'45.9 dirty in june.

But so i´ve got it, and still faster, into the 4'44´s. I almost cried after i finished the lap, because it is something too special for me, its just one dream i´ve got to become concrete. I am really happy due to that, i remember of few times i was more happy than i am now, this is just too special for me. I will be able to sleep well now, knowing that i have got to achieve my main goal. :)

Well, i will ask jumpace to record a video of this lap, so when he gets the video, i will be posting here surely. 👍

Just to remember, the car used was the toyota Minolta, in arcade mode, fully tuned with R5 tires, no TCS nor ASM, driving now the DFP. :)

JESUS CHRIST!!! and there was me being happy last night because i got my own personal best of 5'20.030. I bow down :bowdown: to you because that is amazing 36 seconds faster and there was me sitting there after with sweaty palms thinking i had done well. I think its about time i ditched my sauber and dusted off my minolta!

Cant wait to see the vid!!!! :)

Wow! Good job, veilsidebr! Not using TCS nor ASM must have made the car a beast to drive. My hats off to you. 👍
 
incredible laptime!

the one thing though is that the car wasnt stock :( thus, this lap would be inpossible in reality......


anyway, i am really looking foward to seeing that lap :p im still working to ge my stock DTM cars into a faster groove.......mainly messing with the gears.......streaching out the top two so i can go faster on the strait-ish parts and keeping the bottom three closer togeather for better acceleration out of the turns......

Hehe yes, i must say i´ve lost 2 laps in 4'43. The third chance i couldn´t let it go away. 👍

Improvements, just in one corner or two and very very few improvements in the house of 0.1 or 0.2, in the rest i can´t just go faster.

The limit, is somewhere inside 4'42. I would make a bet of 4'42.5xx. This i can chase or get near but to get it, i won´t. 👍

It took me a long time to get used to the DFP and actually get faster with it.

2) How do you drive on the street?

Half the fun of driving on the street is taking turns at the speed limit when there isn't a corner speed limit posted. Just wondering if someone with such a similar passion for speed would be the same way.

3) How many times in a row could you beat the last driving mission?

1) for 1 month. But i was fully adapted in the second week with it.

2)I can drive the same as in GT4 on streets. Also go karting etc.

3)Hum i´ve beat it already but i didn´t touch it anymore. I´ve beat it in the early days of GT4, i remember with a gap of like 10 secs from the P2, but i don´t like that car at all. :)

Wow! You beat the P2 Car in Mission 34 by TEN SECONDS? Man, you must be really, really, really good at this game. I am nowhere near your skill level. Hope to see a replay of your 4'44.650 lap soon 👍 .

so did you use the DFP to set this absolutely INSANE time????
What do u find easier to use DFP or DSC??

Some comments were quite harsh (in the other forums/threads) but what can you do.... they are sore losers, and just cant recognise that there are better racers out there!!

Veilside keep up the work man... maybe 4.43 will come to you one day!! heheh :P
I still have a long ways to go yet to catch up to you!! 5.27 is my fastest, still a bit of work to do!! but now that i know what is possible, ill see how close i can get to you! my main target is probably to crack 5 minute barrier then ill be happy!! might take a few months!

Keep your work too mate, you will surely step a sub 5 min lap soon. Practice and practice will place you in a very very fast lane, keep your work and do it! 👍 :)
 
bringing back an old thread after digging up my ps2. I tried this with the settings above and broke my old record on the 2nd lap! Does this record still stand? Or where can the current gt4 records be found, thank you.

those settings above are freaking money btw
