Nurburgring Nordschleiffe freezing

Any race that uses this track configuration, Spec A or Spec B, freezes about 30 seconds in. Only option is to hit PS button and exit game.
Other configurations of Nurburgring work fine.
Anyone else see this?
Any suggestions about how to troubleshoot/correct this?

I ran the new GTR in practice mode yesterday on that track, no weather. I didnt have a problem.
 
Delete and then re-install the game data (not your save data). See if that helps out.

Since I'm a PS3 moron...
You mean go the Game Data Utility and Delete GT5, correct?

Then I just reinstall and it'll find my saved game data OK?
 
Correct. You'll have to go through the install of Spec-II all over again, so it will be a pretty long wait. Just to be safe, make a backup of your save file first. Good luck.:)
