Odd Career Bar?

I've let my B-Spec driver (level 40) do some remote racing recently, he did quite a lot too when remote racing was pretty new.
His career bar on the driver status card thing is LESS than when you select the card to see the other status bars.
Which one is correct?
 
I am afraid remote races won't count for the career bar.... just do X1vettel on sunday cup Tzukuba on and on....
 
I heard it 500 offline wins (Not remote) to get a Bob to the peak of their career. I dont know for sure but my number 1 Bob has won 260+ races & is just about half way so this 500 offline wins sounds correct as some of my Bobs races were online/remote.
