Odd observation when braking...

Ok, I'm racing along with whatever car, doesn't really matter cuz I've noticed it on just about every car I use...anyway, racing along at speed then I hit the brakes before a corner (or a straight-away to check the amount of nose dive) and here's what happens; the car will do a relatively slow nose dive, meaning the nose pitches down pretty slow..no big deal, it's supposed to happen within reason. But after several laps, I've noticed that nose dive increase. Meaning, instead of the relatively controlled dive, the car will do a really quick nose dive. Then several laps later it will go back to the slow dive. I've used several different tunes found in the tuning pages and I've used my own tunes to test my theory and I get the same results: slow predictable nose dives then quick snappy nose dives. It seems that it's more pronounced during longer races, especially the endurance races. At first I thought it was the suspension either "warming up" or "wearing down", but then after several laps, the snappy nose dives go back to being slow and predictable. Any thoughts on the matter?

Are you 100% sure you're braking with precisely the same force, from the same speed, at the same point in the track, with the same wear on your tires?

Good call on the tires, Freedom... for the first couple laps, you're on cold tires, which means they have a little less grip, and braking should be slower. Then you'll get into the hot, sticky tires, and braking will be sharper, producing more of a nose dive and faster braking. Then, after a while, tire wear will bring your traction back down, and you'll be back to more gentle stopping thanks to the ABS and less grip.

Maybe it relates to the tire wear etc, tiers when warmed after a few laps have a better response showing a more noticeable nose dip, as the tires lose its grip the dipping is not as exaggerated?

Thanks for the replies and good call guys. I was thinking of that but also thought, nah...it wouldn't be that pronounced. But it's the only conclusion I can draw. Makes sense to me.
