So this weekend is Le Mans and I'd love to take part in the Twitter conversation but my Twitter has an odd #glitch ;) ...

Basically I cannot tweet, or sign out or change settings. It just won't click, it acknowledges I'm typing or clicking but it won't do what I'm trying to get it to do or send it. Any ideas for a fix?

I have literally no idea what that means! :O

Download CCleaner, it's free. It will take care of that "stuff" and other "stuff" for you. Some of the "stuff"'it can do, stay away from it, you might cause more harm than good.

I really don't want to run the risk of ruining something I saved up for all last year... :guilty:

The basics of CCleaner wont uninstall programs or remove unwanted crap from Start Up, of clean orphaned waste from stuff you deleted months ago. But it can. It is a very user friendly program if you read just a little bit. However, you can simply "run" it. It's an incredibly popular tool.

Unless you have a Surface, go back to Windows 7.

So, you're using Internet Explorer?
Microsoft
Open Internet Explorer [in Windows 8's] desktop [mode].

Tap or click the Tools button, point to Safety, and then tap or click Delete browsing history.

[Only] select Cookies [and cache in the] check box [unless you want anything else deleted], and then click Delete .

👍.

Okay thanks Dean, and I will consider using CCleaner at some point Dave :)

EDIT: It hasn't worked

Firefox or Chrome. NEVER use IE unless the website does not support Chrome or Firefox. Such as your company's employee benefits site. They want to use the most insecure browser because they want increased security for employee info. Their IT department is run by idiots! Yeah I'm looking at you nameless retailer!!!

Chrome and or Firefox can import your IE bookmarks. Chrome (on iOS) can sync up with the full Chrome browser. I assume Firefox does also, but Apple still isn't supporting it on iPhone or iPad.

Thanks, it's working on Chrome (Which I had anyway, it just takes longer to load so I usually don't use it)
