The hp ratings invariably vary by 1 hp when the car is revolving in the garage view versus when viewing the hp rating from within the tuning menu. Lots of spare time last week made me create a favorite garage full of cars with 25hp horsepower increments starting from 100 hp beetle all the way to a 850 hp chrome line Lamborghini Murci. I'm trying for an overall range between 25 hp (would appreciate any pointers for cars between 25-75 hp range) and 1250 hp (Veyron).

Spent many hours finishing (almost) the current 100-850 hp range as a result of this "off by 1" coding error. Tuning any car to exactly 500 hp has been very frustrating as I've spent millions of Cr and about 3 hours of my time with no success. I can imagine a few OCD, not the online car dealership, related jokes coming this way but would appreciate any help.

Just use the Ecu Limiter.

I did mention that many hours were spent "tuning" cars. That included tweaking the ECU as needed. Only the 500hp mark is not commonly achieved yet between the garage and tuning menu view.
 
Thats just the way it is....
 
I think the different screens round the HP figure differently. It is annoying but sometimes it's at the right tenth that both screens are the same. :)

Sorry I can't be of more help to figure that out. I'm sure there are at least a handful of cars that do it correctly though.
