Pfffttt...truck belong on the ground not up in the sky . Ahh just kidding but where in Gods name do you off road in the UK? I'm not familiar with the area.
a typical british field is enough to challenge most cars here you can make quite a bit of cash at shows in muddy fields just hanging around with a land rover and a winch green laning, some with private land are kind enough to open their land to off roaders and most related companies have extremely testing courses set up, the best stuff is up north tho theres forest everywhere!
Never seen one of those Range Rover Dakar things before (2nd row), they're pretty nifty.
Thanks for the pictures, the auto scene in the UK just keeps proving itself more diverse then my preconceptions.
ohoo the auto scene is growing, even kids these days talk of "doing up" theyr cars, even before theyv passed their test iv seen a few cars with L plates and altezza lights Halfords is making a killing in ridiculous exhausts and alloys. tho recently there is a growing interesting (finally!) in the mechanical side and that thing called "power". some people confine themselves to certain things, i just like what looks good and drives like hell you should see the VW scene!

It's a Bowler Wildcat. This is the company's website (very Flashy - 56kers consider yourselves warned).
There's all sorts of different types of car scenes here - I have a Mini, so that's where my allegience lies. My sister's boyfriend is into the modded car scene - there's cruises around the A-roads late on a Saturday night once a month near where I live; the Fast and the Furious sort of thing. There's the American muscle scene, and the offroaders; you name it, its here somewhere. Everything you've got in America is here, it just isn't as well known. I'm not aware, for example, of any lowrider trucks of the sort that BlazinXtreme likes, but it'll be around somewhere.
theyr called a Dakar 4X4, not Bowlers, a kit car basically, they send you the body and some other bits and you need a donor range rover for a base and you build it yourself 👍
the show was at Three Counties Showground in Worcester, Near Wales
