So I was lurking on the ISR forums, and came across this very interesting post in regards to the new Thrustmaster TX racing wheel, by a guy named teuccio76. Some of the things sound a little too good to be true, but if it is true, could be a big move by Thrustmaster:

First Post: "Ok guys...today I've being to Games Week In Milan, ITALY...I've tried the Wheel and I have some information from Thrustmaster (I'm the editor in chief of GameInformer Italy)

The Tx wheel will be 100% compatible with T500 peripherals...perdals, rims and shifter.

It will be compatible with Pc like fanatec

The 458 wheel is the same of the 430...

Also the pedals use the same technology.

But for me its ok...

We try to put on the Ferrari F150 replica of the T500 and it works!

Second Post: "Guys, I don't try the shifter...sorry...I was writing very fast...

We've try only the ferrari add on...

Thrustmaster guys told that It will be possible a future compatibility...but they don't have the TH8 at the stand...

Forgot to told you that there will be a new T500 Model rebrander for Gt6 available in day one with the game with some minor internal upgrade (i think to correct some past issue of the wheel)

PS: t500 and Tx same to share the same technology for the wheel.

Tx RIM is taken from 430...

just to be precise...

I think that it's cheaper for the pedals..."

Do you think There could be a new TM wheel for the new GT game?

I think it is logical, because each GT game since GT3 I believe has had a new wheel:

GT3: Driving Force
GT4: Driving Force Pro
GT5P: Driving Force GT
GT5: Thrustmaster T500RS
GT6: ? Maybe T600RS ;)

What do you guys think?

What sounds to good to be true? The compatibility I guess.

Not a single information about the quality of the wheel though.
