I wasn’t sure how to word the title, but this just happened to me. I’m racing Tokyo in sport and this guys time was wacked.
He tried to smash n pass me, but lost control on like lap 4 of 6. His car outpowered mine, but I smoked him in the corners.
So last lap, 5th from last corner coming off the straight, he tried to smash me from behind. Like didn’t even brake. So blatant that the game ghosted him to me and he smashed into the wall hard. 3 sec penalty.
Now I could have probably passed him but I just let him stay ahead and avoid his rage. Plus he was like at most a 1/2 second ahead of me. Plus his 3 second penalty.
Well we finish and his penalty disappears, as in doesn't effect his time. There were like 5 or 6 people behind us that got docked for penalties at the finish.
Not only that, but it showed him 9 seconds ahead of me. The guy behind me finish time is right and there wasn’t any noticeable lag. And lag couldn’t ever be 9+ seconds over like 15 seconds of track. And his magical disappearing penalty.
I’m not suggesting the guy cheated, cause that doesn’t even make sense. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen something like that. I’m not crying about it, but it’s concerning and implies some serious flaws.
Anyone else notice something like that? I wish I recorded it. I tried asking him afterwards but he scrammed.
