Offline grip vs club lobby grip?

I know offline time trial mode has more grip than a regular online lobby. But does an online club lobby compare to offline? There was some discussion of it in the competition linked in my signature but no clear answeres were decided upon.

I know offline time trial mode has more grip than a regular online lobby. But does an online club lobby compare to offline? There was some discussion of it in the competition linked in my signature but no clear answeres were decided upon.

I believe all online room have the same amount of grip (if the setting are the same from room to room).

From testing a couple of months ago, offline is faster. I think this is because of the time lag when in an online room.

Here are a couple things that change grip:
1. Tire wear off has more grip than tire wear on.
2. Real Grip Reduction has less grip than Low Grip Reduction
3. Amount of Surface Water on the track. (Generally more water means less grip)
4. Temperature displayed. Depends on the track/car/temperature combo.
