I really enjoy GTS, but find the daily races, now being daily, a little off putting. I rarely played online before, as I previously enjoyed making my way through the A-Spec/career mode races more than the online experience in previous games. It strikes me, that with the custom race editor in Arcade, the options for setting up a variety of races is quite wide. We might even be able to create our own A-Spec/career mode.
It is even quite likely, that somebody will have already started.
All we need is members, to suggest their favourite custom races, ideally that are somehow based on a previous version of Gran Turismo.
Might need some creativity, or a pencil and paper if we want to mimic a championship though.
Would you like to suggest an event, or series of events that could be combined to make up a career mode?

Level: Beginner / National B / National A / International B / International A / Super
Series Name: ie Sunday Cup, Like the Wind / British Lightweights etc
The car restriction.
List the 3 to 5 events
The Settings, Number of Cars
If this gets up and running, maybe we can post our fastest race times.
Here is my suggestion, which will get refined as I test.
Level: Beginner
Series Name: Sunday Cup
N200 cars, 6 Cars
Race 1: Brands Hatch Indy Circuit (2 laps)
Race 2: Suzuka Circuit East Course (2 laps)
Race 3: Blue Moon Bay Speedway (2 laps)
Settings, the easiest - when I get to the PS4 I'll edit this
