Oh goody, can't save mid-championship

Started the 1000 Miles championship hoping I could save the thing mid way through a la GT3. Completed the Nurburgring race in 3hrs 30mins and could only find a way to save the fugging replay :indiff:

One thing I am not pleased they enhanced đź‘Ž

of course you can save during a championship race. you can even do an oil change if you want. by click on the EXIT (green color) key (not the quit race), you can go to the home menu and save.
 
Silly goose, did you not notice that you can exit the championship with the ability to not quit the championship?

It will say something like *exit championship and return to this page*.

Just check it out. ;)

Once you exit make sure you select to return to that screen.

Then when you are put back on the main map screen you will see that it says "you are currently entered in the ______ champ."

From there you will have limited options but one of them is to enter your "home" and save. đź‘Ť

you can save when you leave the race completly back to the main screen it will save by itself then you just load it and go back to the European races it will ask if you want to continue :)đź‘Ť
 
Yeah if you exit a championship (the green icon) BUT DON'T QUIT IT one of the other icon's you can go to the GT auto or visit you're home and save, do oil changes, change rims, you can't change cars or buy any more parts. If you try to enter another race it gives you the choice to return to the one you're in now or to quit it so you can enter another one.

I guess I before I had seen the 'Save Championship' icons at the bottom of the screen. Didn't want to hit Exit unless my 3hrs 30mins of racing went to rat ****!

Thanks all, although too late for me...94 laps of Opera to go!
