i god damn king of ricers here in god forsaken town has just gotten a ae86 and think that he is the drift king, but in reality he just freaking suck as he says that the thing needs more power to drfit well what a freaking dumbas. I am extremly pissed off when he told me that, that i almost slapped the shi? out of him.

Uh, its possible it does need more power. Its not like the AE86 is a Stock drifting machine, you can't take it out and drift perfectly because of the car..It DOES require some mods alot of the time.

actually the car doesn't need more power. the car is a fine drifter when stock. this is why the AE86 is a great drifter is becausethe little amount of power teaches you the neccessary techniques and to not rely on the power to get you through the turn. even Keiichi said in his drift bible that the car is great because the lack of power allows you to make nice even drifts in it and it allows you floor it through the drift. the car has decent suspension and it has LSD from the factory as well so it is a great car.

well, all i know is the regular hachi-gos. and my friend was gonna get a hachi-go, and he told me that he was gonna drift intersections w/ it. i was like.. u idiot. i woulda smacked him if it wasnt via i-net

the AE85 is the '85-'87 Toyota Corolla SR5 if I am not mistaken. the AE86 is the '85-'87 Toyota Corolla GT-S. there is a difference even though they look the same.

Why anyone would buy an 18 year old car with 150000 miles on it is beyond me. But that seller has got your number, so good for him I guess. He'll be laughing all the way to the bank.

Why would anybody buy an old muscle car that is totally roted out for 2500$ and spend 25000$ restoreing it back to pristine condition? Because they like the car and they see a sweet possibility in it. so don't rain on anyones, parade, and anyways i already got my AE86 and it has only 71000 miles on it on a freshly rebuilt brive train.

keiichi's '86 only has 170ps. Then again, it's fully race modified and barely weighs 2000 lb's.
